STUDENTS:
The Real Hunger Games event will be introduced to the Middle School on Friday morning during Homeroom. Every student has been placed into a District by the Games Keeper for this event. There are a total of 15 Districts. Please check on the Real Hunger Games Poster in the cafeteria during lunch on Thursday or in your math class on Thursday to see which District you have been assigned too. President Snow is requiring all people meet in their pre-determined Districts promptly at 8:15 so you can receive your message from previous year’s Hunger Games winners Katness Everdeen and Peeta Mallark. Best wishes and may the odds ever be in your favor…

It’s baaaaaack! Dancing With the Cards returns to the Maquoketa spotlight this year after a one-year hiatus.  Couples have been practicing their routines in an effort to win audience and judges’ votes and a coveted trophy.

The event is a Maquoketa Athletic Booster Club fundraiser, and it will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 22 at the Ohnward Fine Arts Center in Maquoketa.
Eight Maquoketa Community High School students – five females and three males – are paired up with eight area businesspeople for this fourth annual event.   Maquoketa Middle School’s even has its own dancer in the contest – Mrs. Kober!
Others volunteering to exhibit their dance moves on the Ohnward stage this year are:
• Kary Becker and Ashley Becker,
• Tonya Flenker and Cale Muhlhausen,
• Rachelle Kober and Colin Meier,
• Jarod Manning and Kadee Dull,
• Diana Miller and Derek Kruser,
• Scott Wirth and Tess Nissen, and
• Brad Young and Taylor Goodenow.
Please come on Saturday to enjoy the show and support Maquoketa Athletic Booster Club!
