Any 8th grader interested in trying out for MHS Dance Team for the upcoming school year must report to Ms. Kopp (Rm. 15) or Ms. Burns (Rm. 12) by Friday, April 17th to find out more information on tryouts.
MMS Library will sponsoring “Battle of the Books” in April. You need a team of at least 3 students, 6 teams maximum. For more information, see Mrs. Pfab about signing up by April 13th and a list of the books to read in the LMC.
If you are going to register your child for UD for KIDS this summer, the Maquoketa Middle School has been awarded 2 $50 scholarships. A code for these scholarships will be needed during the on-line payment process. If you would like to use one of these scholarships, please contact Elizabeth Wold at firstname.lastname@example.org or 652-4956 x3222. First come, first serve by April 27th.
If your student is going to be gone on a school activity trip only they need to come to the office and pick up a “Golden Ticket” to be filled out by you and your child. Your student needs to get assignments they will be missing and turn back into the office when completed. The sheet must be completed before the day they miss.
