On Friday, May 30, the 8th grade graduation will take place at 9:45 A.M. Parents and all grade levels are invited to attend.
HELP NEEDED: There will be a breakfast in the cafeteria from 8:30 – 9:30 to honor our graduating 8th grade students. We are looking for parents to assist with serving pancakes, juice, rolls, and fruit. Students will sign up to provide items for the breakfast. Please contact Jane Schmidt or Rachelle Kober (firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com) if you can assist with the breakfast. Your help is greatly appreciated.
All students that have not picked up their projects from their respective Industrial Technology class need to do so by the end of the school year.
Mrs. Ferguson has 10 extra yearbooks to sell. They are $15.00 each. Please see me in room 37 if interested. First come first serve!
Wednesday, May 28: 6th Grade Field Trip
6th grade students will leave at 10:00 A.M. to go the River Museum in Dubuque for a 4-D movie. Next, students will travel to Skate Country for lunch and skating. Students will bring a sack lunch to eat and may choose to bring some spending money for concessions/games at Skate Country. We will return around 2:50 P.M.
Seventh grade will travel to Davenport to the IMAX/STEM Museum and then to the Maquoketa Bowling Alley on Tuesday, May 27th for their end of the year field trip. Permission slips and $7 are due to homeroom teachers by Wednesday, May 21st.
Seventh grade will be going the Maquoketa Dam on Thursday, May 29th for a Science trip.
8th Graders will launch rockets on Tuesday, May 27th from 9:30 to 10:50. The launch will take place at the Fairgrounds grass parking lot.
8th graders will travel to the Quad Cities for a day of activities. We will cruise the Mississippi River on the Celebration Belle, have a sack lunch at a local park, and then see an improve show at Comedy Sportz. Permission slips are due Friday, May 23rd.
