Announcements April 27th – May 1st
Attention all athletes: Maquoketa is hosting 32 teams at the WaMac conference track meet on Thursday, May 7. The Athletic Boosters will be running concessions that evening as a fundraiser for all athletic programs. We are asking each high school athlete to donate either one case of water bottles, or one (8pk) of PowerAde (20 oz bottles). These can be dropped off in Mrs. Taylor’s room at the high school. Seniors: Two new scholarships have arrived in the Counseling Office.
- Warren D Roberts Memorial Scholarship is due May 1st. This scholarship is for anyone who is planning to pursue a career in Education. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Devenish Nutrition Scholarship for Agriculture is due June 1st. This scholarship is for students planning to pursue a degree in an agricultural field of study.
Applications for both of these scholarships are in the Counseling Office.
Seniors: If you have been awarded a scholarship from the college you are planning to attend please let Mrs. Yarolim know so it can be announced at the Senior Award Ceremony. Also, if you have received a scholarship from a parent’s employer or another source that the Counseling Office would not know about and you would like it announced let Mrs. Yarolim know. This information should be brought to the Counseling Office no later than Wednesday, May 6th.
Palmer College will be in the Counseling Office on Tuesday, May 5th at 1:00.

Thank you to all the Student Senate members who worked so hard to make the Jackson County Track and Field Day a huge success. Your help was very much appreciated. Also, a sincere thank-you to the staff for your cooperation and support of this activity.
