Announcements January 15-19

 

There will be an important golf meeting for all golfers on Wednesday, January 24 at 1:15.  Report to your GST for attendance and then to the commons area.  Any questions see Mrs. Taylor.

 

The girls’ and boys’ tennis teams are working at the concession stand on Jan. 23. Please sign-up in Mrs. Raker’s room.

 

BPA has concession stand on Friday, Jan. 26. Please see Ms. Buckwalter to sign up.

 

There will be a Boys and Girls Track meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd during GST in Mr. Duffy’s room.

 

Do you enjoy using physics principles to construct devices such as mousetrap cars, catapults, and bridges? If so, please see Mrs. Quinlan by the end of the week to get more information about a physics competition going on March 29th at the AEA. This competition is open to all MHS students!!

 

Large Group Speech:

    1. Make sure you are rehearsing this week. We need to see everyone AT LEAST ONCE this week.
    2. Get your forms signed and back to Miss Althoff, to go with us on Saturday to Districts in Monticello.

 

  • Bus will leave Saturday morning, the 20th, from the lower parking lot at 6:30am. Bring concession money, dress clothes, and scripts.
  • Parent Meeting for CAGE  – Thursday at 5:30 PM in Mrs. Krum’s room to prepare for WaMac contest in Feb.  Please inform your parents.

 

 

FFA members need to let Mr. Lansing KNOW ASAP for practice times for the following.  If you do not let him know he will remove you from the event.  

Creed Speaking, Ext Speaking, Public Speaking, Job Interview, Ag Radio, Ag Sales, Conduct of Meetings, Parly Pro, Greenhand, Chapter Quiz.  These all compete in less than one month.

If you wish to order your FFA jacket they cost $61  and need to be paid by Friday to have them here in time for events.  SEE MR. LANSING ASAP

 

Attention students and staff: MHS Pride Week will be celebrated January 22-26. This activity is sponsored by Student Senate. Dress up days are as follows:

Monday – Sleepy day

Tuesday – Mismatch day

Wednesday – Camouflage day

Thursday – Jersey day

Friday – Spirit day

 

During GST on Friday, January 26 there will be an all-school assembly recognizing winter sport athletes and members of clubs and organizations.
