Seniors:  Just a reminder – senior pictures are due in digital format for the yearbook on or before December 15, 2015; the traditional head and shoulder shots are due on or before April 1, 2016. Any questions, please see April Edwards.

Yearbook blow out for one week only. The 2014-2015 yearbooks are on sale for $45 (normal price $65) and the 2013-2014 yearbooks are on sale for $5 (normally $15). Get yours now. The supplies are limited.

Just a reminder:  Students in Mr. Burken’s 2nd block Manufacturing class, and Mr. Good’s Principals of Tech. class (also 2nd block) will be touring Husco and Jackson Manufacturing on October 6, 7, 8, and 9.

Cheerleading tryouts for winter sports will be held on October 16th. Stop in room 114 to pick up more information.

In the months ahead,  the Iowa State Patrol will be partnering with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Dept. in a new safety initiative called the High 5 Rural Safety Program.

The Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau has chosen Jackson County as one of 5 counties in Iowa with a high number of rural crashes coupled with lower seatbelt compliance.  This program will use enforcement, education and engineering to address this issue in making our roads safer.  Please remember to buckle up in every seat & every time.  This message is brought to you by the Iowa State Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

There will be an NHS meeting for all current members on Monday, October 12 in the west gym during GST.

NHS activity information sheets for eligible juniors and seniors are due to Mrs. Raker by 3:30 on Monday, October 12 in order to be considered for membership.
