Yearbook forms are now available in the office. Yearbooks are now printed in color! They are $17.50 and need to be pre-ordered. Pick up your form today!

Mrs. Kramer’s 6th grade guidance class will meet in the FCS room 107 during 2nd block.

Reminder that all PE class will being going swimming until October 30. To make this unit successful, students are required to bring with them a school appropriate swimsuit and a towel. A bag would also be beneficial to put wet clothes each day to take home to dry/wash. If your child does not have swim attire available, please contact your teacher to work out an agreement for this unit. This is a partnership through the school and YMCA so if you are a member or see a member of the YMCA please express your gratitude to them for opening their facility to the middle school physical education department. Ohnward Fine Arts Center is hosting a Kids Only Variety Show: We are looking for acts from kids up to 18 years of age. Acts should be between 3 to 5 minutes in length and can consist of individuals or groups of any age. Performers/acts do not need to be from Jackson County. We are looking for a true variety of acts which could include singers, dancers, musicians, comedy acts/skits, magic acts, jugglers, kazoo players…whatever your special talent may be.

Auditions are not necessary. Just contact Richard Hall, executive director at the Ohnward Fine Arts Center. He can be contacted by email at director@ohnwardfineartscenter.com, or by calling 563-652-9815.

Kids will get together Saturday morning at 10 AM to rehearse your act. Show time will be 3 PM. Come share your talent and help brighten the holidays for other area residents! Parents will be asked to fill out a permission slip on the morning of the show.

Proceeds go towards the Delmar Splash pad and other park renovations

Maquoketa Athletic Boosters Basketball Tournament Fundraiser

Girls: November 3rd

Boys: November 10th & 11th

Middle School Donation Request

The Maquoketa Athletic Boosters need your help! The money raised at these two tournaments will help the Booster Club supply all uniforms and other necessary equipment for each and every sport in grades 7-12. In addition to working a shift at one of these tournaments, we are requesting donations from every member of each athletic team in the Middle School & High School. These donations will be used at all 3 tournament dates, where we will host approximately 90 teams.

We are requesting that each of the Middle School Athletes donate Two – 8 packs of (Blue or Red) 20 ounce bottles of Gatorade or PowerAde. All beverage donations should be dropped off in the Middle School office on or before Tuesday, October 30th.

If you would rather Bake: We are accepting donations of Scotch-a-Roos & Puppy Chow at the High School on November 2nd between 3:30-5:30

Scotch-a-Roos: Please make two 9X13 pan cut into 12 pieces each and individually wrapped.

Puppy Chow: Please make 24 sandwich bags filled with 1½ Cups in each bag.
