“A” Day

Students:

The Middle School now has a place to recycle markers! This includes any type of marker including crayola, sharpie, expo. PLease place all worn out markers in the box located in the cafeteria. Thanks for doing your part to keep our landfills free from markers!

All books need to be returned to the Library by May 15th so we are able to get inventory done by the end of the school year.

2019-2020 Dance Team tryouts
Practice dates:
Wednesday, May 8th 4:30-6:00 PM
Thursday, May 9th 6:00-7:30 PM
Friday, May 10th 4:30-6:00 PM
Please attend at least 1 practice
Tryouts:
Wednesday, May 15th 4:30-6:00
All practices and tryouts will be held at the high school in the multipurpose room.

Attention 8th Grade Students
Did you enjoy welding during class? Do you want an opportunity to win a brand new welding helmet? There will be a first annual welding competition for any 8th grade student held right here at the middle school.
Who: Any 8th Grade Student
What: Welding Competition – Arc(Stick) Welding
When: May 23 and 24 during zero hour, study hall, before school, after school
Where: Middle School Shop
If you are interested in participating, there will be practice sessions during zero hours and study halls leading up to the competition dates. You will also need to sign-up for a time slot on Mr. Miller’s board.

There will be a boxtop blitz next week at the Middle School. For every 10 box tops you bring in, your name will going into a drawing for prizes. Please turn your box tops into Mrs. Cavanagh or Mr. Marshall. Drawing will be held, Friday, May 17th.
