STUDENTS:

We are very excited to share with all of you that we will be hosting a family night on Tuesday, January 25 from 5:00-6:30 in our Middle School.  The theme for the night is “Let’s TACO about your work!”

This is a great community outreach opportunity to get families in our building to showcase all of the hard work you and our students have done in the first half of the year.

Please begin thinking about what you are going to showcase in your classroom for the community.  The Leadership team would like to know what you are showcasing in order to create a map for our families, please have this information to Mrs. Banowetz or Mrs. Wold by January 3.  What you showcase should be something you have already done/doing or intend to do in the near future.  For example in Mrs. Wold’s room families will see Legos, bridges and Mock Trial informative posters.

There will be a simple meal of walking tacos provided by businesses in town and teacher donations.

Yearbooks are able to be ordered! This year ordering is all online. To order, visit Lifetouch Yearbook Website and enter code 12874322 to order a Maquoketa Middle School yearbook. They are starting at $18. The deadline is March 18, 2022.

Leader in Me Focus: Do three random acts of kindness tonight. Write how the other person responded and how it made you feel.
