“B” Day

STUDENTS:

Maquoketa Softball Player Meeting for any girl 8-12th grade interested in playing softball this year will be on Sunday, December 18th @ 3:30pm in the high school cafeteria. Expect the meeting to last approximately 90 minutes.

Coach Jack Foley will have a pre-season meeting Monday, Dec. 12th from 3:40 pm-4:15pm in the Middle School Gym for 7th & 8th grade boys interested in playing Basketball.

The first practice will be Wednesday, January 4th from 6:45am – 7:45am at the Middle School. Players will need to have turned their physical and concussion forms to Mrs. Flenker in the office.

More information regarding the basketball season and schedule will be provided at the meeting.

The Community Service Squad is taking donations for Toys for Tots until FRIDAY!!! Bring your new, unwrapped toy donations (ages 6 months-12 years old) to Room 12.

PBIS Event Planning Squad is planning activities for our December 21st event.  We are in need of Prizes/Gifts for students to win.  If you have any items you would like to donate please drop them off in the middle school office by Monday, December 19th.  Item examples: Gatorade, chips, candy bars, gift cards, body care sets, fun toys, games, water bottles,  trading cards etc. Thank you for your support! -PBIS Event Squad

If you are interested in performing in the 2022 MMS Talent Show, talk to Mr. Fuss or one of the Actor’s Guild squad members.

Tuesday, December 13: Warm Winter Vacation, Wear summer beach gear with holiday hats or headbands.

Wednesday, December 14: Mad about Plaid, Wear your favorite plaid.

Thursday, December 15: Holiday Cheer, It’s a green and red explosion! Wear as much green and red as you can.

Friday, December 16: Winter Spirit, Wear your favorite holiday pajamas.

 

Monday, December 19: Don’t be a Grinch: Wear green or a Grinch shirt.

Tuesday, December 20: Bling in the Holidays, Wear festive bling, tinsel, or sparkles.

Wednesday, December 21: Festive Sweaters, Wear a festive holiday sweater.
