Food and drinks must stay inside the cafeteria.
A quick note about waiting for the buses after school. Please be sure to stay on the sidewalk and out of the road.
Our bus drivers have also noticed more friends missing their bus because they were busy chatting or playing in the yard area, so be sure to pay attention to the buses and catch yours as it comes through!
I know with the weather getting nicer and it’s fun to play, but it’s important to be responsible as well.
Do you have what it takes to be a babysitter? Iowa State University Extension is hosting a babysitting course Monday, February 21 from 8:45-3:30 (we have no school due to Presidents Day). It is $20 for the course which includes a meal, safety course, magic bag, and a handbook. Stop by the office for the QR code or use this link. Registration is due TOMORROW, if you have questions please contact Carolyn Clark at (563) 652-4923.
Like to paint, draw, or color? Use that creativity and create a poster for the Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District. This year’s theme is “Healthy Soil Healthy Life” and must be on the poster. For more information please see your science teacher or Mrs. Sampica. 1st Place winners receive $15, 2nd receives $10 with possible additional prizes if selected for the state level.
