“B” Day

STUDENTS:

Spring pictures are Friday. Remember your order forms! You can either pre order online or bring the completed order envelope with the exact amount of cash or check payable to Lifetouch and give it to the Lifetouch Photographer.

Attention Middle School Girls: The Million Women Mentors – Wisconsin members are running a free Virtual event for Middle school girls in STEM.  The event is on Wednesday March 2nd from 3:30 – 4:30 central time. If you are interested, stop by the office for more information.

12 year olds or younger interested in playing soccer through the Y, registration is open until March 14. Stop by the office or Y for additional information.

We are excited to announce we now have a Building Wide Students Lighthouse Team. The group determined we needed a shorter name and voted to call ourselves the Flashlight Team  🔦🔦🔦 .   Members include: Arabella Wagner, Tyler Dirks, Samuel Hess, Madie Herring, Atty Moore, Wrigley Wisco, Cora Widel, Justice Armbruster, and Kendall Kuhlman. Our goal is to communicate events happening in the building and throughout the community. Our next meeting will be FRIDAY (changed from today) during A lunch in the Art Room.

Yearbooks are able to be ordered! This year ordering is all online. To order, visit Lifetouch Yearbook Website and enter code 12874322 to order a Maquoketa Middle School yearbook. They are starting at $18. The deadline is March 18, 2022.

Like to paint, draw, or color? Use that creativity and create a poster for the Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District. This year’s theme is “Healthy Soil Healthy Life” and must be on the poster. For more information please see your science teacher or Mrs. Sampica. 1st Place winners receive $15, 2nd receives $10 with possible additional prizes if selected for the state level. Posters are due by April 29.

Leader in Me Focus: Think of a family member you never really take the time to listen to-like a little sister, big brother, or Grandpa. Commit to take the time.
