“B” Day

The annual Maquoketa Education Fund Geno’s Pizza Fundraiser is BACK!  There are two dates this year: February 11th (Super Bowl Weekend!) and March 4th. Each date has a slightly different pizza lineup, and you can get delivery to your door for an extra $8 (within Maquoketa city limits). Last day to order for a February 11 pick up is Thursday!  Pick-up will be 2-4 at the Maquoketa Middle School on each date.

6th Graders interested in signing up for Spring Volleyball through the Y is open! Please see the information sheet in the office or the Y for details! If you are a 7th or 8th grader interested, contact the Y. If there is enough interested, they will create an age division for you! Deadline is February 17th.

This year the 7th grade will be selling candy grams at all three lunch times.  For $1 you can send a note and a sucker to your friend.  Suckers and notes will be delivered Tuesday, February 14th.  The last day to order will be Friday!  Proceeds will go towards the spring field trip in May.  Please bring the exact amount of money, no change will be given!

If you are interested in creating a poster for the Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District, please see your science teacher for information. This year’s theme/title is “One Water”. Posters are due April 14.
