“A” Day


Congratulations for the Bridge teams from Maquoketa! We did very well. Here are the results. The bridge with the highest Efficiency wins.

Maquoketa Baseball pitching and hitting clinic forms are now available in the office or from Mrs. Cavanagh. The dates of the clinics are March 16, 19, 23, 27 and 30. The cost is $40 and you will receive a t-shirt with early registration.

Maquoketa Kiwanis  Pitch Hit & Run contest registration is available online only. High School

Dance Tryouts are Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 10am. Open practice is March 19th from 6-8pm. Pre-Tryout meeting for dancers and parents is March 19th at 5:30. For more information, contact Coach Meier (563)249-3771

Middle School coaches will be offering open track practices after school on the following dates:

These will run from 3:30-4:30. You will need a ride to pick you up at the Middle School at 4:30. Required practice will begin on Tuesday, March 31st. All participants will be required to have a physical and concussion form completed by the 31st.

There will be an informational sign up meeting on Monday, March 23rd at 330 in the gym. If you cannot make this meeting, please see one of the coaches.

PBIS will be hosting the annual March Madness basketball bracket challenge. All brackets must be submitted to Mr. Miller by 11am on Thursday, March 19th. Selection Sunday is March 15th, so brackets will be available March 17th. Any question, see Mr. Miller next week.

Yearbook forms are now available in the office- books starting at $17.50. All yearbooks must be preordered by April 1, 2020. Make checks payable to MCSD


Come out and support Mrs. Bonjour and Mrs. Johannsen as well as other dancers and community members at Dancing with the Cards! April 4, 2020 at 7pm in the High school gym. Entry Fee is $5. Duos with the most money in their ballot box will win the People’s Choice Trophy! All proceeds will go to the Maquoketa Athletic Boosters and MHS Dance Team!
