STUDENTS:

CORRECTION to yesterday’s announcement: The Maquoketa Middle School “senior” band (now the 8th grade band) has achieved 40 (not 39) “Superior” ratings since its first appearance at a large group festival in 1981. Way to keep the streak going, 8th grade band members!

12 year olds or younger interested in playing soccer through the Y, registration is open until March 14. Stop by the office or Y for additional information.

Yearbooks are able to be ordered! This year ordering is all online. To order, visit Lifetouch Yearbook Website and enter code 12874322 to order a Maquoketa Middle School yearbook. They are starting at $18. The deadline is March 18, 2022. (Mr Van Horn’s Birthday)

Like to paint, draw, or color? Use that creativity and create a poster for the Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District. This year’s theme is “Healthy Soil Healthy Life” and must be on the poster. For more information please see your science teacher or Mrs. Sampica. 1st Place winners receive $15, 2nd receives $10 with possible additional prizes if selected for the state level. Posters are due by April 29.
