FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT

LEARN MORE

If you have any questions or comments about our food service program, please feel free to email Food Service Director Matt Andresen or call 563-564-0060.

Food service staff will serve students all the meal options to limit touch exposure and meals may even be delivered to the classrooms. There will continue to be several menu options even with these mitigation efforts in place.  Whenever possible, items will be prepackaged, including fresh fruits and vegetables. We are committed to providing menu choices with health and safety at the forefront.

Free & Reduced Federal Meal Assistance Program

If your family qualified for free or reduced meals in the 2019-20 school year, your qualification will remain in effect until October 5, 2020. New applications for the 2020-21 school year will be mailed to each household in August 2020. The application must be returned prior to October 6, 2020, in order to verify qualification for breakfast and lunch assistance for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year. Failure to return the 2020-21 Free and Reduced Application form by October 5th will result in your status being changed to full pay. Any change of status with newly submitted forms will be effective with the date of verification.

Applications will be accepted at any point throughout the year.
If your child(ren) qualifies for free or reduced meals, you are also eligible for other benefits. If you complete and return the Fee Waiver form, your child(ren) will receive a full or partial waiver of any book fee, instrument rental, roller-skate rental, and driver's education fee.
