Important Dates
School will have 3 full weeks in December.
Last day before winter break: Thursday, December 19.
Winter break: Monday, December 22 through Monday, January 5.
Students return to school: Tuesday, January 6.
Events & Activities
Holiday Sing — Thursday, December 12 at 9:30 AM in the Maquoketa High School main gym. Please join us!
Family Movie Night at the Voy — Friday, December 5. Bring the family for a fun evening!
Holiday Store — Second grade students are earning dollars for good behavior to purchase gifts for loved ones.
Dress-Up Days — We will have several fun dress-up days for students and staff throughout the month. Join us in the celebration of the season!
Pizza/Cookie Fundraiser — Sponsored by the Maquoketa Elementary Parent Lighthouse Team to raise funds for student and staff activities during the year.
Winter Break Learning Packets Teachers are preparing reading and math practice packets for students to use over the break as we get ready for state testing in January. Please look for these packets to come home during the last week of December.
