Iowa Open Enrollment law allows parents/guardians to enroll their child into a school district other than the district they reside in. An open enrollment application must be completed for each individual child. The open enrollment application can be found by clicking here.

 During the 2024 Legislative Session, the State of Iowa made a change to the Open Enrollment Deadline. For the 2024-2025 school year, the Open Enrollment Application deadline is June 30, 2024. For the 2025-26 school year and beyond, the deadline will be March 1, 2025.

Parents should be aware that open enrollment may result in the loss of athletic eligibility.
