Gwen Taylor, senior, was hand-selected by 3 judges to go and perform her original poem at the Iowa High School Speech Association All-State Festival!!! This will take place on March 31st at the University of Northern Iowa. Congrats to Gwen!!

Business Marketing class celebrated National Oreo day with some taste testing in class Thursday. Students have been learning the history of Oreo and are creating their new flavor ideas, packaging design, and slogans!
This last Monday, MHS Vocal students got the chance to work with a voice professor from Iowa State, Shelby VanNordstrand. Students learned new techniques in breathing, vowel sounds and how to better create a blended sound.
The junior class had the opportunity to attend Clinton Community College's career & college fair today!
