JOI Club delivered Birthday Bags to the Maquoketa Community Cupboard today! These bags had cake mixes, frosting, pans, and some other things to help people celebrate their special day! The club also got a tour and information about everything they do each week.








JOI club had a busy week. Today (Friday) we headed to Hurstville to help plant flowers, clean out flower beds, and spread mulch. We even ended our day by catching (and releasing) snakes!







What a great night we had last week! It was wonderful to see how much our middle school band students have grown this year! Congratulations to Ms. Lyons and all of our band students! Great job!











On Wednesday May 7th the 4 students that went to SDC (Skills Development Conference) at the FFA Enrichment to compete in different iJAG competitions. The students I took placed top 5 in all three competitions we competed in. Reo Renner got 2nd place in Career Prep out of 10 other 7/8 iJAG Programs. Iris Wagner got 3rd place in Prepared Speaking out of 13 7/8 iJAG Programs, and Alivia Shady and Myles Schnoor got 4th place out of 14 other 7/8 iJAG programs.

6th grade took a field trip to Prairie Creek today! Archery, hiking, fishing, and learning about prairie grasses made for a great experience!











Middle School JOI Club created and delivered cookie plants to all staff for Teacher Appreciation Week!

The middle school Innovators classes have been coming up with their own automatons after learning about simple machines.




This group of students visited Clover Ridge Gardens yesterday and shared some special moments with the residents there. The morning was full of kind conversations, and hot games of Go Fish and Connect Four!
