Please see the flyer for information about our Holiday Sing! Just a friendly reminder, if you are planning to pick-up your child after the concert you will need to come to the building they attend to sign them out. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter as we work to assure all students safely return to the buildings.

Cardinal Elementary participated in another Lunch with the Law opportunity today. This month we recognized our kindergarten leaders who were selected for being good role models for others. Congratulations to Noah Jones, Axel Oberbreckling, Cash Williams, and Micheal Williams. They also got to choose a staff member from the building who has had an impact in encouraging them to make good choices. They also got to pick the restaurant and McDonalds was the popular vote. Thank you to the Maquoketa PD for another great opportunity.

Today at Cardinal Elementary we celebrated our Kindergarten Leaders of the Week! Congratulations to the following Leaders!

Evelyn Bollinger does an amazing of putting first things first. She gets her work done on time before she goes to reading and math work bins. Evelyn also gets all dressed for recess before she goes outside. Keep up the great work Evelyn!

Aubree Schulz has been working very hard in the last few weeks to continue to learn the routines in our classroom as well as working on academic skills! Even when things may be challenging for her, she puts first things first and gets her work done! We are so proud of you Aubree!

Harley Wagg does an amazing job when transitioning and gets to the next thing on our schedule promptly. He does a great job of completing his work before moving to our math and reading tubs. He also asks clarifying questions about his work if he fully doesn't understand it.

Payten Reuter is great at taking charge and being responsible at school. She knows what needs to be done and is always helping her peers get their work done. We are proud of Payten!

Today we celebrated our Kindergarten Leaders of the Week! So proud of you all for leading the way!

Harper Dirks does an excellent job of finishing daily work on time. Her work is always neat. Harper also takes good care of her supplies and she puts her work and supplies away when finished working. Keep up the great work Harper!

Zoey Goodenow does an amazing job getting her work done before she goes to centers.

Vinny Baker is doing a great job of prioritizing things that need to get done in order to move to the next step, but still doing his very best. He is emphasizing our "work first, then play" motto! Keep up the great work.

Finn Henderson does a great job of showing his classmates Habit 2 in action! He knows what work he needs to get done and then he does it so that he can then go to centers and have fun! Keep showing Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind!! Ms. Cari is so proud of you!!!
