Next week is National School Counseling Week (February 2-6, 2026). The theme this year is “School Counselors Amplify Student Success.” There will be themed dress up days for all students and staff at both Cardinal Elementary and Briggs Elementary next week. We encourage you to have your child participate in these fun dress up days next week!

Ember Knight has been mking good choices at school. She has been putting forth a fantastic effort to reach her goals. Keep up the great work!

Anastasia Risden is new to our school and has already shown others how to follow the rules and expectations at Cardinal Elementary. Way to be a leader, Anastasia!
Titan Crete has been an amazing addition to our classroom. He is always helping other students out when they need help. He is a kind friend as well.
Just a friendly reminder of our weather expectations for students regarding recess. Please be sure to make sure your child is dressed for the weather as the cold weather and snow approaches.

Zayn Wiese is doing a great job of getting his work done, not just on time, but he does his best work. He's also been doing a wonderful job of following directions and being a kind friend to other students in our class. Good job, Zayn!
Alaina Varty has been working hard on following directions the first time and getting her work done on time.
We are so proud of you!
Rylee Brewster is the sweetest, kindest girl you will ever meet! She is always rooting for others to succeed and has a smile on her face. I can count on Rylee to follow directions the first time and she is always prepared and ready to learn. She is a role model in and out of the classroom.
Emma Smith is a leader in our class by demonstrating Habit 5, Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood. She always considers the perspectives of others before making assumptions. She is caring and compassionate toward others. She respects the thoughts and feelings of her peers and shows that through her actions. Keep up the great work Emma!
Sawyer Lucas is a nice sweet girl. She is a good friend to others and always tries her best. She is easy to get along with and loves to see her friends do great things. Keep up the great work!
Stan Beltz always does his best every day by following directions, being respectful, and being kind to everyone. No task is too big and he always has a smile.
