Calling all Cards! The Maquoketa High School is looking for some help with this seasons home basketball games and wrestling meets. We are looking for volunteers with knowledge and time to hlep out with score book, shot clock and table workers for wrestling. Join the middle school vocal department Tuesday, November 18th at Ohnward Fine Arts Center for their fall vocal concert. The concert begins at 7:00pm. Our Lady Cards will hit the road to start off the 2025/2026 season. The girls will head to Kennedy High School tonight to hit the hardwood for a scrimmage against Cedar Rapids Kennedy. Junior High will start at 6:00pm. Varsity will start at 7:30pm. The girls will then hit our home hardwood THIS Friday night to take on Western Dubuque for our home season opener.

Maquoketa High School CAGE Presents, Freaky Tiki by Todd Wallinger. The production will take place Friday, November 14th as well as Saturday, November 15th. Today we celebrated our 1st Grade Leaders of the Month. Congratulations to the following students:

Nova LaMaack has been doing an amazing job working hard and trying her best! She's a good role model for others in the class and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Way to go, Nova! I'm proud of you. Keep up the awesome work!

Malia DenHerder is a great leader in our classroom and always tries to make good choices even if others around her are not always doing so. Malia knows that if she works first then she will be able to enjoy her time in the classroom and at home.

Harper Balliu is skilled at putting first things first! She always finishes her work neatly and on time before moving on to more fun activities. She works hard and is a great role model in our classroom!

Join Maquoketa FFA Booster for the annual steak dinner. This Friday, November 14th. Door will open at 6:00pm with dinner to be served from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. The event will include a silent auction as well as a live one. The steak dinner will be held at the TImber Center. $30 per ticket or $225 for a table to eight, pay at the door. Students will be going outside for recess unless the real temperature or windchill falls below 0.
