As we enter the winter season, we want to remind families that our general threshold for canceling school due to cold is when wind chill temperatures fall between -25 to -30°F. At those levels, the National Weather Service typically issues a Wind Chill Warning.
Looking ahead to tomorrow morning, temperatures are forecasted to be around -14°F at 6:00 a.m. , so we do not anticipate any delays or cancellations at this time.
Students typically remain indoors for recess when temperatures are below 0°F, but we still ask that all students come to school dressed warmly, especially those riding the bus. Having proper winter gear is important in case of any unforeseen delays.

We are looking for a few students to assist with the Zimmerman Wrestling Tournament next week on Friday, 12/12/2025 (girls) and Saturday, 12/13/2025 (boys). Responsibilities will include cleaning mats and making ice bags. This is a great opportunity to support our athletes and earn service hours.
