Malia DenHerder is a great leader in our classroom and always tries to make good choices even if others around her are not always doing so. Malia knows that if she works first then she will be able to enjoy her time in the classroom and at home.

As we look ahead, colder weather is coming our way so we wanted to share our winter temperature recess guidelines and winter recess expectations. Students will be going outside for recess unless the real temperature or windchill falls below 0. Maquoketa Community Schools is proud to host the River Valley Conference Band Festival. 180 students from 8 conference schools will be participating and performing at Maquoketa High School. Plese come join us for a night of amazing music and entertainment perfomed by these students. The concert will begin at 7:00pm in the Maquoketa High School Main Gym.
