Johal Moore has been doing a good job adjusting to the routines of the classroom since joining! He has also been working hard on following directions the first time given. He works well with others and is making new friends. Way to go, Johal!
Madison Clark is great leader when it comes to synergizing with others. She is always willing to help and tries hard to be positive with every situation.
Sebastian Tobias is a kind friend and hard worker. He tries to think of solutions to problems and make everyone feel included. He is a valued member of our class family. Way to go, Sebastian!

* Buses will run 2 hours later than normal morning pick-up times
* No morning activities
* No morning preschool
* No breakfast will be served
We will continue to monitor conditions closely. If any changes are necessary, additional information will be shared.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff during these winter weather conditions.

Today at Cardinal Elementary, we celebrated reading success with an ice cream party for students who have been meeting big goals in literacy! Congratulations to our readers on this wonderful achievement, and thank you to the families who were able to attend and for your continued support from home. We are also grateful for our staff for supporting students with their goal setting and holding us all to high expectations. Together, we're building a community of strong, confident readers! 📚🍦Next Friday, March 20th, will be our literacy event where all Cardinal families are invited to come for Cookies and Books. We will also provide information about the Summer Reading Program at the Maquoketa Library and ideas for reading with kids at home. Hope to see you there!
