We had a great staff cookout today to kick off the new year. Thank You to Fareway, Tada Meats, Timber Lanes, Dollar Fresh, and the Women's Club for all contributing food. A shout out to our volunteer grillers and the Cattleman's Grill. We appreciate our community partners!

With the boil order in affect for Maquoketa, we have brought in 600 bottles of water to help with hydration today and tomorrow for our athletes attending camps . Walmart made a very generous gift to help with the purchase of water for our athletes at camps. Huge thank you to them. Please send your athletes with any additional drinks they may want on Friday.

All activity registration will take place on Bound this year. Attached is a flyer to help with your questions. Concussion form, consent to treat, activity release form and physical are all part of the registration process

Maquoketa CSD Stakeholders, Our Public Hearing and School Board Meeting will be cancelled for tonight, Monday July 15th due to the anticipation of inclement weather. Once the new date/time is confirmed we will post the details of the meeting. Thank You! Superintendent Notz

If you plan on attending Thursday nights post season softball game vs Clinton, please remember that all tickets need to be purchased through Bound. No cash sales at the gate. All tickets must be purchased prior to the game

Information if you plan to attend post season baseball Friday night vs Wahlert The exit you normally take to get to McAlleece Park where we play, exit 190, is CLOSED. Instead, take exit 189B. And if you drive by it, you will have to go across the bridge into Wisconsin to turn around as it's the last exit in Iowa. When you get off the 189B exit, then you turn right at the stop sign and cross the train tracks. Stay to the right when you come to a fork in the road. When you come to a stoplight at 16th street, turn right and then take a right on Adm. Sheehy Drive and that takes you into the facility.

Congratulations to Cam Tracy for making 2nd team All State this spring for boys soccer. Cameron had a fantastic season leading the Cardinals in goals scored.

Join us for a Facilities Committee meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 11th from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm at the Maquoketa Middle School cafeteria. Highlights will include a panel discussion regarding 5th grade location, updated plans of the addition to Briggs Elementary based on committee feedback and a tour of the Middle School. All community members and staff are welcome to attend.
