We had a great time celebrating Halloween with a staff costume contest. The staff voted on their favorites district wide and the winners are: Most Creative Costume: "The Struggle Bus" Angela Brown and Taylor Fuerste at Cardinal Funniest Costume: "Mr. Clean" Zac Gavin at MHS Best Team Theme: "The 5th Grade Final Tour" Josh Koob, Brielle Reicks, Mandy Fischer, Jayme Johnson and Laura Grau at Briggs Overall People's Choice: "The Spice Girls" Jill Rockwell, Kate Kramer, Audreianna Schmidt, Cathy Huebbe, Amy Latner and Alicia Gade at MMS.

Izzy Hardin finished 5th at today's 3A CC meet. Congratulations Izzy!!!

As we prepare for our Halloween parties on Thursday, October 31st, I want to share some guidelines regarding costumes to ensure a fun and safe experience for all our students. Appropriate Costumes: * Fun and Friendly: Costumes that are lighthearted and fun, such as superheroes, animals, and favorite book characters. * Comfortable Attire: Outfits that allow for easy movement, playing, and participating in activities. * Non-Hazardous Accessories: Costumes that do not include sharp objects, weapons, or any items that could cause injury. Inappropriate Costumes: * Violent Themes: Any costumes that depict violence or include weapons. * Scary or Disturbing Imagery: Outfits that may frighten young children, including gory or horror-themed costumes (no blood or scars as props). We appreciate your cooperation in helping to create a joyful and safe environment for our Halloween celebrations. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out. High Hopes Awards go to those students who are always working hard on their academics, even when things get challenging or we make a mistake!
