Mrs. Brown’s class enjoyed a special visitor on Veteran’s Day! We learned about all of the important jobs all veterans do and Sgt. Gretchen Dryer read Twenty-One Steps. She also answered some great questions our first graders had. Thank you Sgt. Gretchen Dryer and all veterans for your service! 🇺🇸♥️🤍💙🇺🇸

Hello Cardinal Elementary Families, Thank you for your continued support and partnership. As we transition into the cooler months, I want to remind everyone that temperatures can fluctuate significantly. It’s important for students to dress appropriately for recess to ensure their comfort and well-being. I’ve attached a poster outlining our expectations for recess attire. Please review it with your child to help them make the best choices for their outdoor time. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Warm regards, Sara Bennis Cardinal Elementary Principal

Hello Cardinal Elementary Families, Today during the Leadership Assembly at Cardinal Elementary we celebrated our TK/K Leader of the Week and Staff Shout-Outs. Congratulations to our Cardinal Leaders! Alan Chen does an excellent job of getting his work on time and listening during instructional times. School is very important to Alan and he enjoys learning. Keep up the great work Alan! Bennett DeLarm comes to school every day ready to work. He tries hard even when it is something that he doesn't like to do. Bennett makes sure that he has his work done first before he plays. Keep up the hard work!! Kai Welley does a great job getting his work done before going to reading and math centers. Alex Watters is trying his best to be a leader in our classroom and set a good example for his peers. He knows what needs to be done and he gets right to it! Keep up the great work! Nurse Carlie is the best! She prioritizes tasks and responsibilities, demonstrating exceptional time management and commitment to our students and team. She always ensures that the most important tasks are attended to first, while also inspiring others to do the same. Her ability to balance multiple priorities with grace and efficiency sets a fantastic example for our Cardinal students! Ms. Jackie is new to our building but has jumped right in to help out where she is needed. She is proactive and likes to get things done before they need to be. She begins with the end in mind when she is working with her TK students and sets goals for them and then creates a plan to help them reach their goals. Thank you for coming to Cardinal Ms. Jackie!!

Another Wednesday to celebrate Leadership at Cardinal Elementary! Congratulations to our First Grade Leaders of the Week and Staff Shout-Outs! See this video (https://youtu.be/VOwZRnLhJFg) of our Leadership Assembly and watch as these students earn their stickers! We are so proud of our Cardinal Leaders! Jax Johnson does a wonderful job of making sure his big rocks are completed before starting on his little rocks. He is responsible and accountable for his work and always tries his best. Good job, Jax! Brynn Bowman has made a lot of progress in the goals she has set for herself and has stuck to her commitments. She participates in activities and helps her friends when they need it. She is a kind friend in our classroom. Way to go, Brynn! Talan Till does a great job of being a leader! He follows directions the first time they're given and shows others how to do things by being a role model. He's a very good listener during Knowledge as he's always answering questions. Way to go, Talan! Matheson Nena has done an awesome job being a leader! He makes good choices and shows others how to do things. He's also a very nice helper to others. Way to go, Matheson! Kristen Ralston tries to be an example of putting first things first. She works hard on finishing her work before doing other things. Kristen is kind and is always willing to help others. Luna Bakey shows that she can be a leader with Habit 3 by putting first things first. Luna works hard on finishing her work on time at school and at home. She is kind to others and always willing to help someone who might not understand the assignment. Keira Farris exemplifies Habit 3. She stays on task, completes her work, and even helps others before taking free time for herself. Keira prioritizes the important things, taking care of those big rocks first. She also does so with a positive attitude, being a great leader and role model in our classroom! Great job, Keira! Mrs. Trusty is very dedicated and puts in a lot of hard work to make her classroom great. Her enthusiasm for learning inspires her students every day, and her support makes a significant impact on student's growth. Thank you for inspiring your students to be their best selves and for always encouraging them to try their hardest. We are so grateful to have Mrs. Trusty as a teacher at Cardinal. Miss Kaitlyn makes sure that everything is ready to go for the day; answering phone calls, getting in lunch counts, helping teachers and Mrs. Bennis. She goes above and beyond to support student needs and keep the building running efficiently. Thank you for all you do, Miss Kaitlyn!!
