We have a full day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29th in order to ensure we meet our school hour requirement for the year. The last day of school is Thursday, May 30th. This is also a full day of school.
Join us for the Maquoketa CSD Graduation Ceremony today at 2:00 pm at the Maquoketa High School Gym. For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be live streamed on the Maquoketa CSD Facebook Page. Let's celebrate the achievements of our graduates together! 🎓🎉
Hello Cardinal Elementary Families,
I can't believe this will be the final newscast (https://youtu.be/FfG3YDmEeoE) of the 2023-2024 school year! We want to thank you for allowing us to spend the year with all of your amazing children. We have enjoyed every minute of watching them grow and discover their many skills and talents! Hopefully you all enjoy the summer break. We can't wait to see many of the students return in the fall! Here is one last look at what's ahead for our final week.

-2nd Grade Talent Show - 9:15-10:15 May 29th (Parents are invited if your child is performing)
-Cardinal BBQ, May 29th (see flyer for lunch times)
-Cardinal Carnival, May 29th (See flyer for grade level times)
-Last Day, May 30th
-Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are all full days
-Check with classroom teachers for additional activities for the week
Our field trip got rained out, so we made the most of our day!

What a day, what a day! It all started with cupcake decorating after tornado sirens and storms, then ended with cupcake sharing and two groups of incredible 4-year-old graduates! 🎓🥰🌈🧁☔️
As students sang today, “WE DID IT!”!!! 🤩

Students are resuming their normal schedule. Thank you to our bus drivers, and all staff for keeping kids safe and calm.
